Agion® Partners with Office Depot Providing an Extra Measure of Product Protection to Foray Stay-Put Pens
Foray Security Pens, Used in High Traffic Areas, Incorporate Agion Antimicrobial Technology to Destroy destructive Bacteria on the Product’s Surface
Wakefield, Mass., November 4, 2010 – Office Depot and Agion today announced a partnership that brings an added measure of security to Foray Security Pens in the form of antimicrobial protection. Designed to stay in place in high traffic areas, Foray Security Pens are prime targets for microbial growth. Agion’s antimicrobial technology is now incorporated into the pens’ design to inhibit the growth of damaging microbes on the pen’s surface.
Agion’s naturally occurring silver based antimicrobial technology inhibits the growth and propagation of bacteria on the surface of a product, adding an important layer of product protection. Unlike common disinfectant sprays and antibacterial lotions, the Agion antimicrobial solution provides continuous protection against microbes by releasing silver ions to the surface at steady rate – for the life of the product.
