Tens of Thousands of Consumers Worldwide Want to Stink at Nothing
T-shirt testers from Europe and around the world participate in global anti-stink experiment, sharing stories and photos of their extreme odor-elimination tests on www.StinkatNothing.com
Friedrichshafen, Germany, OutDoor July 11, 2011 – Over a year into the world’s most ambitious anti-stink experiment, proving clothing manufactured with Agion Active will “stink at nothing,” worldwide interest continues to grow. Sciessent, makers of the Agion brand of antimicrobial technology, has invited consumers to visit the interactive website www.stinkatnothing.com to test the latest in odor-elimination technology. Consumers pull on a T shirt treated with Agion Active and put it to the test in whatever sweat inducing ways they dare, sharing their results with the world. To date, the campaign has attracted nearly 600,000 visitors to the website. More than 100,000 consumers from 147 countries around the world (close to 25,000 from Europe) have signed up to participate, with over 4,000 making it through the screening process and receiving t-shirts to test in the most challenging ways imaginable.
Many of the “t-testers” who qualified for “Stink at Nothing” have shared stories, photos and videos of their experiments on the site, wearing shirts that have been treated on one side with Agion Active while doing everything from running marathons, climbing mountains, chopping wood, working full shifts in hospitals and restaurants, practicing yoga, playing sports like hockey and soccer, and even hiking for weeks at a time. Participants have expressed shock and dismay that no matter how hard they try, they cannot succeed in getting the treated half of the shirt to stink.
“I wore the Agion Active T shirt for three straight days of bouldering and camping, much of during which I was sweating profusely,” said Jan Sikora ofFrydek-Mistek, Czech Republic.“On day three, I still did not detect any odor. This was great for me, but even better for my friends as we were traveling together and staying in tight quarters!”
Agion Active is the first textile treatment to eliminate odors both on and around the fabric – something other technologies cannot achieve. Since clothing and gear treated with Agion Active has not yet been introduced to the public for purchase, participation in the “Stink At Nothing” Challenge is the first and only way that athletes can get early access to the innovative treatment and see for themselves just how effective it truly is.
Upon visiting www.stinkatnothing.com, consumers can sign up to receive shirts treated with Agion Active technology and share the results of their personal stink tests. After passing a screening process, t-testers are selected and asked to give the shirts a try before uploading video testimonials or photos and posting written accounts answering one crucial question: “Did you stink?” Visitors who participate in the Agion Active “Stink At Nothing” challenge can compete against each other, via online popular vote.
