TBL Rubberfab Tubing Products and Silicone Seals Enhanced with Agion Product Protection
One of the most important components of water filtration systems is the tubing that carries liquid to and from various points throughout a home or building. Tubing that incorporates antimicrobial protection inhibits the growth of damaging microbes that can impact the odor and taste of water.
TBL Plastics, a Rubberfab company, has partnered with Agion to develop a family of thermoplastic tubing products and silicone seals for the food, beverage, consumer and healthcare markets. There are a myriad of uses for the tubing in addition to potable water systems. The company manufactures medical device products such as catheters and ventilation tubes, tubing for ice dispensing equipment, beverage dispensers, and air and gas lines. Currently, TBL is manufacturing Agion's products on a contract (private label) basis. Materials being processed with Agion protection are: Polypropylene, Polyethylene, PVC in a Phthalate Free, version as well as a standard FDA version. This line offering of different products with Agion's antimicrobial technology gives TBL's customers maximum flexibility of economy and functionality.
